Products

We are a recycling plant that uses the Smart Recycling process to recycle different types of plastics, including polypropylene (PP), high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and low-density polyethylene (LDPE).

The PP PCR resins we produce are recycled plastic materials that are obtained from post-consumer plastic waste and are used in a wide variety of applications. We offer FDA and non-FDA grade PCR resins. FDA grade PCR resins are plastic materials suitable for contact with food and pharmaceuticals, while non-FDA PCR resins are used in applications where contact with food or pharmaceuticals is not required.

We also produce HDPE PCR resins, which are used in similar applications to PP PCR resins. As with PP, we offer HDPE FDA and non-FDA grade PCR resins. Lastly, we produce LDPE PCR resins, which are used in a wide variety of applications, from plastic bags to packaging products. As with the other materials, we offer both FDA and non-FDA grade LDPE PCR resins.

Our Smart Recycling process allows us to recycle these post-consumer plastic materials efficiently and sustainably, thus reducing environmental impact and promoting the circular economy.

Products

Polypropylene PCR Food Grade

Natural PP PCR with cosmetic and food grade meets FDA standards for use in food and cosmetic applications. In addition, thanks to his technology, this material can also be used in the entire injection range.

Polypropylene PIR

PP PIR, which is a post-industrial polypropylene obtained from industrial recovery materials selected for its high quality. Thanks to our technology, this material has been properly degassed and filtered to obtain an excellent quality product that can be applied in industries such as extrusion and injection.

PP PIR is a sustainable alternative to virgin materials, since it takes advantage of industrial recovery materials and gives them a second useful life. In addition, this material is highly resistant and durable, making it ideal for industrial applications that require high quality materials.

HDPE PCR Food Grade

The HDPE PER natural blown FDA, which is obtained from a careful selection of FDA source raw material to meet the highest industry standards. This material has a letter of no objection to the FDA for its cosmetic application and in certain food grades, in addition to having been approved by brand leaders in cosmetic products. It is an excellent choice for applications requiring high quality material and compliance

Polypropylene PCR

Natural PP PCR with cosmetic and food grade meets FDA standards for use in food and cosmetic applications. In addition, thanks to technology, this material can also be used in the entire injection range. On the other hand, natural PP PCR for industry that does not require food or cosmetic contact is applicable in thermoforming, extrusion, injection and nonwoven fabric processes. This material is not designed for food or cosmetic applications. Our PP Products are versatile and applicable in various industries and manufacturing processes.

HDPE PCR

The natural HDPE blown PCR for non-FDA applications, where PCR material is required with excellent performance in extrusion, film and blowing processes. This material is a sustainable alternative to virgin materials as it is obtained from carefully selected recovery materials.

High Impact Polypropylene

PP high impact, which is a polypropylene obtained from high quality recycled materials that have been brought to standards applicable to the extrusion or injection industry. This material is designed for industrial applications where high engineering performance is required, especially in terms of hardness and impact resistance.

High impact PP is an excellent choice for applications where a durable material is needed, such as in the manufacture of automotive parts, toys, packaging and other industrial products. Its high impact resistance makes it ideal for applications where a material capable of withstanding significant mechanical forces is required.

While using high quality recycled materials, high impact PP is also a sustainable and environmentally friendly option. By choosing this material, companies can reduce their carbon footprint and contribute to the circular economy.

LDPE PCR Natural

The LDPE PCR secondary packaging for film and bag extrusion is obtained from carefully selected recovery materials and is available in two variants: natural and black. It is ideal for secondary packaging applications because is highly resistant and flexible. By choosing this material companies can reduce their carbon footprint and contribute to the circular economy.

DRG offers a wide range of services for plastics reprocessing and recycling. These include:

  • Plastic grinding: IDRG has high special equipment for grinding plastics, which do not cause damage to materials. These materials can be applied directly to industrial processes or incorporated into extrusion lines.
  • Washing of plastics: The company also has washing lines of installed capacity for rigid materials up to 2000 kg/h. They use cold mechanical force to deselect and remove organic and inorganic solids, resulting in a purity greater than 95%.
  • Drawn: IDRG has automatic optical segregation equipment that allows to separate plastics by color. The efficiency of this process is very high, as it achieves a separation of 99% of the colors.
  • Extrusion: Finally, the company offers extrusion services with high-tech equipment. These have intensive filtering and active degassing and have an installed capacity of 1000 kg/h (4). In this way, it is possible to obtain new products from recycled plastics. IDRG offers specialized services for grinding, washing, drawing and extrusion of plastics, with high-tech equipment and high efficiency in recycling processes. This allows recycled plastics to be reused in new products, meanwhile they reduce their environmental impact and contribute to the circular economy.

Laboratory Services

IDRG has an industrial laboratory for engineering plastics, which has specialized equipment 100% Mexican certified. Equipment in the laboratory includes:

- Universal equipment: it has voltage and bending modules, among others, which allow to evaluate the mechanical properties of plastics.

- Twin screw extruder: used for the production of plastics through the extrusion process.

- Bag extruder: used for the production of plastic bags.

- Accelerated ageing equipment: used to simulate the natural ageing of plastics in a short period of time.

- Impact equipment: used to assess the impact resistance of plastics.

- Moisture measuring equipment: used to measure the moisture content of plastics.

- Density equipment: used to measure the density of plastics.

- Capillary rheometer: it is used to measure the viscosity of plastics.

- Ash measurement equipment: used to measure the ash content of plastics.

- Injector for test pieces and colorimetries: used for the production of plastic test pieces and for the measurement of the color of plastics.

These equipment allow IDRG to perform specialized tests on plastics, to evaluate their properties and ensure their quality. In addition, having certified equipment ensures the accuracy and reliability of the results obtained.

LDPE PCR Natural

This type of plastic is commonly used in the manufacture of a wide variety of products, including plastic bags, bottles, packaging and films. The post-industrial LDPE has not been subjected to chemical or physical processes, therefore, it maintains its original properties. This material has been recycled from industrial waste that has not been used by the final consumer and has been obtained from reliable and verifiable sources.
